Shiva Natarajan

Shiva Natarajan was born in Calcutta, India.  Natarajan credits his passion for food and hospitality, to his 94 year old grandmother, who ran a non-stop kitchen in their Calcutta home.  Originally, an MBA, now a successful restaurateur, Natarajan owns several restaurants in New York, highly rated by the New York Times and Zagat. Among the restaurants he owns are Chola, known for its South Indian offerings, Dhaba offering authentic North Indian food, Bhojan which is vegetarian restaurant, Chote Nawab has biryanis and Kababs, Singapura is Malaysian and Thai and the recently opened Malai Marke in the East village in NYC which specializes in Kababs and Goan food.
