Bangalore thrash Daredevils

A B de Villiers and Muttiah Muralitharan starred with the bat and ball respectively as Royal Challengers Bangalore posted a 20-run victory over Delhi Daredevils on Saturday.

Muralitharan's three wickets  for 25, after De Villiers set it up with a blazing 64 off 42 balls.

De Villiers rescued Bangalore's innings with an unbeaten half century as they posted 157 for seven.

De Villiers hit six fours and two sixes in an innings that gave Bangalore the platform.

IPL-5:Chennai Super Kings thump Deccan Chargers

Brilliant all-round show by Ravindra Jadeja helped Chennai Super Kings thrash Deccan Chargers by 74 runs  on Saturday.

Chasing a massive 194-run target, Deccan lost wickets at regular intervals and were never in the contentions after losing the openers in quick succession.

Knicks Beat Magic

The New York Knicks defeated Orlando 96-80.New York hit 13 of 25 3-point attempts in the game.

J.R. Smith and Toney Douglas each added 15 points for the Knicks, who won for just the third time in their last 13 visits to Orlando. New York also hit 13 3-pointers.

The Knicks built their lead with shot after shot from beyond the arc and with easy buckets underneath.

Smith responded on Thursday with a 15-point night. He went 3-for-4 from beyond the arc and handed out nine assists, providing offensive firepower that the depleted Knicks sorely needed.

Bold Play of the game is at the end of the first quarter, Smith missed a layup that caromed high off of the front rim.

The Much Awaited IPL 5 started on Wednesday between Mumbai and Chennai.

The Opening Ceremony was held in Chennai .it was a great event to watch..

Chennai Super Kings crashed to 112 on their own turf. Mumbai didn’t even allow Chennai a brief presence in the contest and chased down the target comfortably.
